I have been buying, renovating and selling real estate for 30+ years. Since 2003 I have been a licensed REALTOR® here in Peterborough working with Buyers and Sellers of Residential, Waterfront and Income/Multifamily properties.

 

Over my career I have been through thousands of homes and talked with more than a thousand people about real estate in Peterborough. BACKGROUND 

 

I am husband to Kelly since 1995 (Christmas Eve). Father to Jordon (1997) and James (2000).

 

Kelly and I met while working in Kelowna, BC. She was the office administrator for a furniture store and I was a radio host doing an on-location sales broadcast at the furniture store. Idle chit chat over a pizza lunch that day turned into a skiing date and we've been together ever since. Jordon was born in Kelowna, BC and James in Vernon, BC.

 

When I left radio in 2002 we moved to Peterborough, Kelly's home town. It was a good time to move as the boys were five and two, so the transition wasn't too difficult for them.  

 

To get my feet on the ground I worked for my in-laws’ furniture store, The Clearing House. We settled in on Wallis Dr. The boys went to Westmount PS in French immersion and then St. Peter CSS in French immersion.  Over the years they played soccer, baseball, basketball, lacrosse and beach volleyball, but hockey was their passion. And so, Kelly and I spent a lot of time at the rink. Kelly was the manager of James’ hockey team for many years and I was the "videographer" for several of Jordon's teams. I also volunteered time on the PMHC board. Our boys are our joy. Watching them develop into the fine young men they have become has been a real treat.

 

Today Kelly and I are empty nesters for most of the year. James attends Ontaio Tech University on a hockey scholarship. And Jordon lives, studies and works in Ottawa full time, attending U Ottawa,  He has completed a degree in economics and is in his final semester to become a lawyer.
